Introduction of Roots Vacuum Pump
Roots vacuum pump is mainly composed of a pair of synchronous high-speed "8" shaped rotors and two semicircular pump chamber.
The pump cannot exhaust alone, it must be used as boosters in series with the front stage pumps (such as rotary piston pump, rotary vane pump, water ring pump, oil ring pump, etc.).
Roots vacuum pump is connected in series in front of the air inlet of the front stage pump (backing pump) to form a vacuum system, which can improve the vacuum degree of the front stage pump(backing pump) and greatly improve the air extraction rate within the effective range.
The backing pump decides the ultimate pressure of roots pump. The data of the list is lowest ultimate pressure with the standard equipment (equipped double stage oil seal machine vacuum pump).
Application:
The Roots pumps are widely used in vacuum moulding, vacuum smelting, vacuum gas pumping, vacuum coating industry, vacuum distilling and vacuum drying of chemical and pharmaceutical industry etc. The pump is insensitive to a little dust.
